Surprise, Surprise!!
I'm back home from a very short day @ East Coast Park.
WHY??
B'COS IT STARTED RAINING!!!! :D
Woke up @ around 4.30am after about 3hours of sleep....
Cabbed down (company claim) to ECP for the event below...
There is nothing wrong with my phone camera, but this is wad you get at 5.15am here at East Coast Park... NO LIGHTS!!
Well, we had to set-up, so its all in almost pitch black...
By the time we finish setting up, the sun is already rising.. weird but this is how bright at around 6.30... Long day short night????
Everything seemed good and all ready...So they did their warm-up exercises, started some of the flag off for the different categories...
Juz when they thought everything was going smoothly, down came the rain w/thunder + lightning...
It poured so heavily that it started to FLOOD!!!
FLOOD....FLOOD...FLOOD
Flooding continues till almost half the wheel of the flight case was submerged in water, or in another words, if you step your leg in it, your entire feet will be in water...
Since the rain persisted, the race cannot continue, so it was pronounced CANCELLED!
We packed up in the rain... All my crew including myself was WET/Totally Drenched!!
PLUS the cold wind blowing...
ARGGHH!!! Shall not elaborate liao....
